Neosho Chamber of Commerce holds annual Dickens Faire

Updated:

The Neosho Chamber of Commerce kicks off its 11th annual Dickens Faire in Neosho, Missouri.  The Chamber says it is an excuse for the surrounding community to come out, spend time with Santa and get into the Christmas spirit.

The free family friendly event offered crafts for kids and thirty local vendors. Vendors sold a range of items from wooden items to Christmas crafts.

With a more vendors than last year the chamber says they are already looking forward to next year.

"It just keeps getting bigger and better every year," said Executive Director of Neosho's Chamber of Commerce. "...[we] always have more groups involved and I think that's just what makes it unique is to where we have other businesses and groups that want to be part of it and to make it bigger and better and that's the reason why I think it's so special."

The event concluded with a festive light parade and live Christmas jazz concert with Santa.
