SW Missouri family honors late daughter in Joplin

Updated:

One Anderson, Missouri family remembers their daughter by donating food, books and money to the Ronald McDonald House.

The Eads family honors the birthday wishes of their late daughter, Natalie -- by donating boxes of her favorite foods to the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin --where they once stayed.

Natalie passed away in April to complications from a heart and lung transplant. Sunday would have marked Natalie's 13th birthday -- and instead of presents Natalie asked her family and friends to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.

"We just want to help others that was Natalie," said Natalie's mother, Angela Eads. "She had the biggest heart she loved ringing the bells at the Salvation Army for the Salvation Army outside of Walmart we would go every year when she was feeling like it."

Natalie's mom, Angela say the family also raised more than $900 dollars for the Ronald McDonald House in honor of their daughter.
