The 23rd annual Cecil Floyd craft show marks the biggest one yet. More than 163 vendors filled every nook and cranny of the Elementary School. Vendors specialized in handmade items.
Due to the lack of space -- at least 30 vendors were turned away. Organizers say the goal is to raise around $10,000 dollars to update and expand the school's playground area -- that was slightly damaged in the tornado.
With all kinds of crafts up for sale -- organizers say shoppers are bound to find something for everyone on their holiday shopping list.
"Its helpful for the shoppers to come and shop for Christmas and holiday gifts and load up for birthday presents as well, so it's a good time of year--the beginning of December-- to get them in the doors and get them excited for the holiday. Its a good way to start off the Christmas season," said Megan Hoyt, PTA President, Cecil Floyd Elementary.
"It's kind of our annul thing now and every year we come as a family and it's a lot fun," said craft show shopper, Rachel Roberts.
Organizers estimate more than 3,000 shoppers attended this years show.
