The Joplin Area Habitat For Humanity today dedicated two more homes for families in need of better housing.
The two homes are located on Wall Avenue and were made possible through a Community Development Block Grant.
Habitat staff, Transform Joplin members, church groups, family members receiving the homes and even Cal Ripken Jr helped with the construction.
The families say they are excited to be moving into their new homes before Christmas.
"It's probably the best feeling we've ever had, to have this brand new home to come home to and raise our new kids in," says homeowners Felicia and Chase Shepard.
Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity has completed 40 houses since the tornado.
