The Rinehart family of Erie, Kansas says they are used to helping others at the holidays.
But their one year old daughter, Elyana, was born with Apert Syndrome, which causes hands and feet to develop fused like webs and has left her arms and legs in casts after many surgeries to make repairs.
It's a genetic disorder and dealing with it has taken a financial and emotional toll.
Traveling for doctor visits is both stressful and time consuming since they travel hundreds of miles a month from Erie, to Kansas City and Dallas. With all their traveling the Rineharts are glad shopping for toys is one thing they won't have to worry so much about this year.
The Rinehart's have three children and church friends suggested the family seek help from the Toybox to help fill stockings and the space under the tree.
