The Ronald McDonald House in Joplin received $2,500 from the Mercy Auxiliary today.
The check presentation was held during the Auxiliary's annual Christmas luncheon.
Mercy Auxiliary President Beverly Newman says it's nice to help a wonderful place.
"It's very important to me," Newman says. "I worked for 45 years and couldn't do a whole lot, but now that I'm retired I count it as a privilege to be able to give back and to help the hospital in any way I can."
Mercy Auxiliary holds fundraiser's each year to help support local charities.
