
News release from the Pittsburg Police Department:
On Wednesday December 12,2012 at approximately 9:30pm officers responded to the Convenient Laundromat, 904 S Joplin St for a report of an armed robbery. The clerk reported that males entered the store and demanded money. One of the males displayed a hand gun which stuck in his waistband.
The two suspects are believed to be Hispanic males, approximately 20 years of age, 5'5'' tall, 150 pounds and were both wearing dark colored hoodie jackets pulled up over their heads. They had their faces covered with dark colored handkerchiefs with white imprint.
The clerk was not injured during this incident and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Pittsburg Police Department.
