Lawsuit filed by former inmate against Delaware County jail

Another former inmate of the Delaware County jail has filed a lawsuit against former Sheriff Jay Blackfox but it also adds former Sheriff Rick Littlefield.

Robert Crockford filed the suit asking for $85,000 claiming he suffered significant damages from neglect by employees in the jail.

Crockford claims he was a prisoner charged with child abuse by injury and was threatened by other inmates after being labeled a child abuser.  He claims he told jail personnel, but was ignored and assaulted by other inmates.

Crockford says he received injuries to his wrist and spine.
