It may feel like spring but hundreds of M.S.S.U. students line up to receive their diploma's in winter graduation.
417 graduates and their family and friends attended the ceremony at the Leggett and Platt Center.
M.S.S.U. officials say 359 are unique, graduating with multiple degrees.
28 are receiving their masters degrees.
Melissa Mayes is one of those students, graduating with a Bachelor of Science of Business Management and Human Resource Management .
She says she's thankful to get to walk the stage this December.
"It feels amazing I'm not a traditional student, I'm quite a bit older and I've got two kids so it's pretty amazing really" says Mayes.
"Since we've done this it's just had such a good feel to it that their fans are here with them celebrating so it's always had a good feel to it" says MSSU Dir. of advising, counseling and testing services Kelly Wilson.
The commencement speaker at the ceremony was Rod Smith a retired Denver Broncos NFLplayer.
