Accused Abductor Arrested

Updated:

A south west Missouri man is now in custody accused of abducting a woman for two days, sexually assaulting her and even playing Russian roulette using a gun from her home.

56 year old Granby resident Ricky Dale Casteel was arrested Friday evening after the 65 year old victim sought a protection order in the Newton County Circuit Court.

The two met at a dance, but after a argument Casteel allegedly pulled a knife on her.

Then he tied her to a bed at her home, where the assaults occurred.

Casteel is being held on a $100 thousand dollar cash only bond.
