Christmas is about a week and a half away and the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program is in need of your help.
Toys for babies and teenagers are what is most needed.
This year the Jasper, Newton and McDonald county program has only received about 600 toys, down from last years numbers.
The number of those in need has increased.
"Parents are just so excited for what little bit we get to give, parents are so excited to get to give that to their children and that's a blessing for us and it's a blessing for us to have parents that excited" says Assistant Coordinator Paula Mitchell.
Toy box's will be set up at area Walmarts, Walgreens and Dollar General's and will stop accepting toys the 19th.
It's not to late to sign up for assistance, donate or to volunteer.
