Water disruption expected in Neosho

Some Neosho residents will notice some disruption to their water on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The city says they are capping old water lines and connecting new installed mains as part of a voter-approved $9.5 million project to improve the community's water system.

According to the city of Neosho the following areas should expect water services to be disrupted:

  • west Grand Avenue (between Ripley and Wood Street)
  • south Ripley Street (between Grand Avenue and South Street)
  • south High Street (between Grand Avenue and South Street)
  • west North Street (between High Street and Wood Street)
  • south Wood Street (between North Street and Grand Avenue)
  • Dewey Avenue (between High Street and Jefferson Street)
  • south Jefferson Street (between Grand Avenue and North Street)
  • Finney Avenue (between Grand Avenue and North Street)
  • south College Street (between Grand Avenue and North Street)
  • South Place (between Ripley Street and High Street).
