Parsons authorities calling weekend fire suspicious

Parsons, Kansas authorities are calling a weekend fire suspicious.

The fire was at the Parsons building formerly known as Cardinal Hall and Westbrook Manor.

Fire crews found smoke coming from each end of the building and took several hours to put out the fire.

The building has been vacant for years and there were no injuries.

The state fire marshall's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
