Santa & Fire Crews Delivers Toys

The city of Columbus, Kansas and its fire department deliver annual angel tree presents to area children in a pretty big sleigh!

The town has held the event for more than ten years. According to the Columbus fire department this was it's most successful year to date.

The department filled two fire trucks with the presents and delivered the gifts with Santa.

Local businesses and residents chose 68 children to buy presents for this holiday season.

"It's a really awesome opportunity, it makes you really fortunate for what you have and to be able to be apart of it, you know, words don't really explain it" says Steven Burton of the Columbus Fire Department.

Parents and family friends of the children fill out applications on their behalf at city hall.
