Joplin Library Plan

Updated:

A 20 million dollar Joplin library project got the green light today.

The library board of trustees today unanimously approved a plan to build a new library and theater complex at 20th and Connecticut.

It's one of ten proposals unveiled by the master developer in October.

The library director says the plan calls for the current library to go to the Joplin redevelopment corporation for an undetermined future purpose.
