
Two duck hunters help save the lives of other hunters on grand lake.
Curtis Tate and Winston Connor of Grove were in a boat near Rabbit Island when they heard someone calling for help.
Harvey Erwin of Claremore and Josh Pridemore of Tulsa fell in the water of Horse Creek arm when their boat capsized. Pridemore swam to shore but Connor and Tate pulled Erwin to shore when his legs wouldn't move to get inside the boat.
Both are expected to recover.
The G.R.D.A. says winter boating can be dangerous with heavy clothing weighing someone down in water. Wearing a life jacket and letting others know where you'll be boating are precautions to take.
