Webb City Business Hit

Updated:

A Webb City, Missouri pharmacy bounces back after a drunk driver crashes into its storefront Friday night. The incident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on the corner of Main Street and West Daugherty.

Police say a small pick up drove into a parked car and hit the front glass window of Bruners Pharmacy.

Webb City Police took the two suspects into custody immediately on several charges, both alcohol and drugs were found in the vehicle.

"It's bad enough during the holiday season that people want to get out and visit families, have a good time, and you have the ones who obviously like to go out and drink, party, get behind the wheel, have no idea what they are doing and wind up getting in a crash like this one here, or wind up hitting another person or killing somebody or maybe their selves" says Patrol Corporal Charles Brown.

Police say no one was injured in the crash. Bruner's Pharmacy boarded up the window and was open for business as usual.
