Crews preparing roads for wintry conditions

Many area communities are preparing to face wintry road conditions, including Neosho, Missouri.

The city of Neosho had trucks out this morning to salt starting with emergency routes.

"They salted some intersections this morning, when the snow started to come down, at this point they have three trucks on standby for this evening," says Wes Franklin of the City of Neosho.

The city says they use anywhere up to 200 tons of salt in one winter.
