New Year's Eve isn't just for the adults. Preparations are underway for some kid-only celebrations.
The Bridge in Joplin is having their 10th annual New Year's Eve Riot. Bounce houses, games, movies and music will all be there to help sixth to eighth graders ring in 2013.
The Bridge Director Logan Greer says 100 tickets have been sold already and they're expecting around 500 to attend.
"Basically, every middle schooler in the area will be here," says Greer. "We're going to have hundreds of middle schoolers here, lots of energy, lots of giveaways we're giving away. It's going to be the best party ever."
The celebration at The Bridge will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and costs $20.
Skateland in Webb City is celebrating by hosting an all night skate from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. It costs $17 and will have it's share of games, contests, dances and prizes.
