Bourbon County investigating former clerk's office employee

Bourbon County, Kansas commissioners have launched a criminal investigation involving a county clerk's office employee who terminated yesterday for alleged misconduct.

The commissioners held a special meeting today to discuss the alleged misconduct and decided to move forward with the criminal investigation.

This is a county investigation and no state or federal officials are involved at this time.
