Extended electronic drop off held today at Joplin Recycling Center

The Joplin Recycling Center and Computer Trade held its extended electronic drop off day today.

The event was held on West Street east of Maiden Lane and organizers said a lot of people showed up to dump their unwanted gadgets.

As always, residents could drop off almost any electronic for free.  But on Friday only, if you had a computer or laptop, Computer Trade removed the hard drives and destroyed them onsite.
