Hepatitiscnews.com will provide practical advice and support to people living with hepatitis C

(PRWEB) January 10, 2013

A new website, aimed at providing practical advice and support to people living with hepatitis C, has been launched. The new site - http://www.hepatitiscnews.com - has been developed to deliver accessible information on hepatitis C, an infectious liver disease that affects around 150 million people worldwide.

Hepatitiscnews.com features tips on living well with hepatitis C, details of resources and support groups worldwide, expert advice and regular updates on hepatitis C and liver disease.

Often referred to as a silent disease, as in most cases it does not result in any symptoms, hepatitis C is most commonly transmitted through contact with an infected person’s blood. The hepatitis C virus can cause serious damage to the liver and, if left untreated, can result in scarring of the liver, liver disease or even death.
