Missouri Governor Jay Nixon preps for his second term in office.

Another term might mean the chance to fulfill his pledge to expand Medicaid for the poor, which was part of his 2008 campaign pledges. Republican state leaders say they're opposed to Medicaid expansion because of long term costs.

Nixon says the expansion is a good way to improve the health of the people.
