A cub scout troop put together birdhouses for homes being built in Joplin today.
Pack 77 headed out to home depot this morning to build birdhouses of all shapes and sizes. The birdhouses will go to families in Joplin affected by the May 22nd 2011 tornado. Home depot providing the space and materials in partnership with rebuild Joplin. A reminder that every community member big or small cares and is doing their part to rebuild Joplin.
"To kind of bring a little bright life into the people affected in the tornado were working on birdhouse it may something kind a little trivial but it helps build simple skills for the boys helps them realize regardless of you your capabilities your talents threes something you can do positive in the lives of those folks" says Cub Master James Bond.
The home depot will be hosting bird house and craft building projects the first Saturday of the next few months and that all children are welcome to participate, times for that are 9-a-m to noon.
