Man charged in Carthage stabbing

A man is charged in connection with a stabbing in Carthage.

Steven Sloniker is charged with first degree assault through a warrant issued by a federal judge.

On Saturday Carthage police responded to a fight in the alley outside of McMorrow's Triple L Irish Pub.

Officers found Kaleb Spry in the alley with several stab wounds to his leg. He was taken to Freeman Hospital in Joplin. At last update Spry was last listed in fair condition.

Sloniker's bond is set at $10,000.
