MSSU self-portraits project held in honor of Martin Luther King Jr

Students at Missouri Southern celebrated Martin Luther King Jr Day with a public art project in his honor.

Art students and volunteers walked around the campus with sharpies and note cards, asking students to draw self-portraits.

The 'Portrait of a Dream' project is meant to reflect what the students are feeling and their emotions as they're going to school and following their dreams.

After the pictures were drawn students uploaded them to 'Portrait of a Dream' Public Art Project on the MSSU website.
