The McDonald County High School Band was in Washington D.C. for Monday's presidential inauguration, and showing of a little school spirit.
The band left the high school for our nation's capitol last week and took part in a number of competitions in D.C.
They won third place in Overall Marching Band, second place in Overall Concert Band, and won the National Citizenship Award, beating 38 bands for that honor.
The students in the band are also touring some historic sites including the Washington monument and the Smithsonian.
