Boat Show in Pittsburg - KOAM TV 7

Boat Show in Pittsburg

Updated:

Fishers head out to Meadowbrook mall in Pittsburg for the 7th annual Albers Marine Hunting and Fishing Show.

The show includes hunting, fishing, ATV, boating and RV features. Kids could also participate in fishing demonstrations, as well as jet ski simulators. This year featured tournament fisherman Wes Endicott, who gave demonstrations and information about tournament fishing.

Organizers with the event say this is the best time to prepare for the upcoming season.

"I think it's good for people to get out. Especially to see the products for the upcoming year, and just to get outdoors away from computers and video games and that" says Glenn Harrison

"We have the convenience of being located where we've got many lakes in close proximity, so we're fortunate to be where we're at" says tournament fisherman Wes Endicott.

The show continues Sunday from 11 am to 5 PM.
