The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is investigating numerous burglaries and thefts, primarily around the rural Columbus area, which have occurred over the past few weeks. As of Monday morning, a private reward of $5,000.00 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for these crimes.
