Winds bring down high-voltage power line near Afton

Updated:

A Grand River Dam Authority high-voltage power line structure was damaged Tuesday morning.

The structure south of Afton, Oklahoma was brought down by winds around 10 a.m.

Despite the wind, rain and mud, crews were able to install the new structure by early the same evening.
