Elderly Parsons Man Found by Police in Frontenac

News release issued by the City of Parsons

PARSONS, KS --- Earlier today, the Parsons Police were seeking information about a 94-year-old man who went for a walk this morning and did not return.

A "Be On the Lookout" order was issued earlier today after concerned family members reported him missing. With the help of law enforcement officers in southeast Kansas, Osmero "Ozzie" Bartelli was located in Frontenac and has been safely returned to his family.

Parsons Police confirm that Bartelli hitchhiked from Parsons to Frontenac.

Parsons Police Chief, Scott Gofourth, would like to thank everyone who helped in the search.
