Missouri Adoption Change in Tax Break

Those in Missouri looking to adopt children from other states and countries will no longer get a tax break incentive under legislation passed by the state senate.

The incentive was used by families to pay for legal fees, home studies and travel when adopting.

The bill's sponsor wants parents to adopt from the more than 10,000 kids that are currently in the states foster system.
