A former Frontenac restaurant finds a new home in Carl Junction.

A fire destroyed Santino's in Frontenac back in December. The owners plan to rebuild but in the mean time they're opening a restaurant at the old Briarbrook Country Clubhouse.

And today they gave folks a taste for free.

"It's fantastic the area around us has been fantastic, coming in and meeting us already, and this is very exciting for us, this is an excellent opportunity for Santino's" says owner Michael Bicknell.

The owner tells us that they are rebuilding the Frontenac location and that the grand opening for the Briarbrook location will be monMonday February 11th.
