$500K grant for Pittsburg School District

Pittsburg schools are getting a $582,000 grant from the Kansas Department of Education.

The funds will be used over a five year period and will help provide after school and summer programs.

The grant is funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers.

USD 250 says the grant will be used at Pittsburg Community Middle School.
