Crawford County burglary suspects take numerous guns, rifles, and more

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is investigating two burglaries that occurred between February 6-7, 2013.

On February 7, 2013 at 11:57 a.m., Sheriff's Deputies were called to a rural Arcadia, KS address to investigate a burglary and theft that had occurred.

The property owner, J.D. Odle reported that someone had entered onto his gated property by cutting the chain on the gate. The suspects then forced their way into a building and took numerous handguns, rifles and shotguns as well as a collection of knives.

Later on February 7 at 3:36 p.m., the Sheriff's Office received another report of a burglary that occurred at a rural Arma address.

Alex Phillip reported that someone had broken a window to his residence to gain entry. Suspects took a laptop computer, jewelry and personal documents.

These incidents are still under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information regarding these crimes are encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office at 620-724-8274.
