Cherokee County Arrests two for Burglary

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office arrests two trying to steal from an unoccupied house.

Just before 7:30 AM Saturday deputies say they were notified a motorcycle was parked behind  house in north Cherokee County.

When officials arrived Travis Roberts, 34 and

Jenny Stephenson, 35, of Pittsburg were exciting the home with property they were allegedly attempting to steal.

Both were arrested for burglary, theft and criminal damage to a property.

The investigation is still ongoing.
