Joplin Police crack down on drunk drivers this weekend. Setting up at least 3 DWI checkpoints.

Officers say stops like this one done previously help get impaired drivers off the road. Officials say impaired driving contributes to nearly 30% of Missouri traffic fatalities. Joplin police are teaming up with the Southwest Missouri DWI Task Force to conduct the checkpoints.
