Removing snow means extra cash

A lot of snow plow drivers are cashing in on the demand to clear out today's fresh snow.

A parking lot at the Dollar General on 15th street in Joplin was cleared this morning. The snow plow driver says it was his fourth job of the day already.

The driver says "snow days" sometimes means extra help.

"Sometimes my wife will come with me, and she'll clean off the sidewalks and stuff, just to get out of the house," says Butch Burriss. "There isn't anything else to do in this kind of weather."
