City of Pittsburg approves $250,000 loan to owners of Meadowbrook Mall

Updated:

Changes are coming to Meadowbrook Mall in Pittsburg.  On Tuesday night city commissioners unanimously approved a community development loan fund investment of $250,000 to extend utilities to a vacant lot.

From an aerial view a plot of land owned by Meadowbrook Mall sits vacant.

Soon, construction will start to extend water and sewer utilities to the property.

The project is part of Imagine Pittsburg 2030 and shoppers hope new retailers and restaurants will soon call Pittsburg home.

We're told improvements will begin immediately but it's still unknown what type of business will occupy the land.
