One injured in three car collision in Pittsburg

Updated at 5:40 PM CST:  A Pittsburg man was injured in a three vehicle crash this afternoon that left one car upside down.

Pittsburg police say Jonathan Hagins, 26 of Pittsburg, was driving south on Joplin Street.  Police say as Hagins approached the intersection of 4th and Joplin the vehicle he was driving crashed into a second car stopped at the intersection, which then crashed into a third vehicle, also stopped at the intersection.

It was the third car that flipped, but police say Hagins was the only one injured in the collision.

Hagins was taken to Via Christi Hospital but we have yet to receive an update on his status.

Police were called to the scene at 1:41 PM.

The crash occurred at the intersection of 4th and Joplin.

Officials have yet to release any details.

Police and fire fighters were there but no word on injuries.
