Letter from Corporate Records Service is a scam

Missouri's Secretary of State is warning corporations about a letter that appears to be a scam.

A group calling itself Corporate Records Service is mailing out a letter called the Annual Minutes Records Form.

The letter asks for the form to be completed and asks for a $125 fee, or risk violating state law.

But the Secretary of State says the letter is not from their office and annual minutes are not required to be filed with their office.
