Monthly Scrabble Club Meet

Updated:

If you're a fan of the game Words With Friends, try the traditional word game Scrabble.

A group averaging about 15 large meets at the Pittsburg Public Library twice a month. The club formed in February of 2005.

Director Dan Lee says the game isn't about beating your opponent, it's about getting people together that love to spell and love to learn.

"It's not about if doc can score 400 or 500 point on some new person, it's not about that it's about developing scrabble players it's like when Megan, where's Megan, when Megan came to us 3 or 4 years ago and she was only averaging 250 a time a novice score she's now a very accomplished player" says Dan Lee.

The club meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month and welcome everyone to join.
