Beautiful photographs are now on display for the 5th annual PhotoSpiva Kids show.
59 photographs by 27 kids between the ages of four and nine were on display. This was the 1st year each student was able to rent a digital camera from Spiva to take 25 pictures a piece and submit them. A part of an art class in January that thought the kids fundamental photography skills liking lighting and perspectives that they can carry on with them for the rest of their lives.
"I encouraged them to try different angles and then we also talked about what's a good picture and what's a bad picture" says art teacher Nellie Mitchell.
"They told us to take pictures to remember what or how to make a great picture and take pictures of what makes a good picture" says student Bella Loudermilk.
"They are fun taking pictures of" says student Elnora Allender.
Each photograph is for sale proceeds go towards Spiva and the little photographers. The pictures will be on display for the rest of the March.
