Reception honors Joplin Schools superintendent

The superintendent of Joplin Schools, CJ Huff PhD, was recently named one of only four finalists for the Superintendent of the Year Award given out by the National American Association of School Administrators.

The school district held a reception on Monday to recognize Dr. Huff for receiving the honor.

He was named a finalist for his work in student performance and graduation rates, and the school districts work through the Bright Futures program.
