Pittsburg police on the hunt for suspect in an armed robbery

Pittsburg authorities are investigating an armed robbery that happened around 1:30 this morning at the Short Stop convenience store on South Broadway. Police say the gunmen pointed his handgun at the clerk and demanded money.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store by foot.

The clerk was not injured but the suspect is still on the loose.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pittsburg Police Department.
