Missouri Gas Energy files to reduce cost of gas

Missouri Gas Energy has filed a request to reduce its cost of gas.

The request put in to the Missouri Public Commission would reduce the cost by about 4 cents per 100 cubic feet.

According to MGE it would reduce the cost of gas for the average customer by about $32 per year.

The request is expected to be approved and will take effect April 1.
