Carl Junction Business Expo

Updated:

About 50 area businesses head to the Carl Junction Community Center for 2nd annual business expo.

This was the first year for a movie scavenger hunt. There were also several thousand dollars worth of giveaways, including gift baskets.

Proceeds from the expo help fund future things like the enhancement of projects around town  or even sending children to state competitions.

"These expo's are really a good opportunity for the businesses to show off what they have an encourage people, it gives them a face with a name and we always encourage people to shop locally and shop with chamber members because those are people that support your community" says Chamber of Commerce President Gary Stubblefield.
