One Pittsburg home is a total loss and another severely damaged after a Saturday night fire.

Pittsburg Fire Department got to the scene at about 9:30 Saturday night. The fire started at the unoccupied house at 509 East Adams Street, then carried on to the house next door. Luckily the homeowner was not inside at the time.

Officials say the fire is under investigation.
