Attendees of the SAE International 2013 World Congress will be able to experience some of the latest vehicle technologies at the Ride and Drive event.

Attendees of the SAE International 2013 World Congress will be able to experience some of the latest vehicle technologies at the Ride and Drive event.

The Ride and Drive will feature vehicles provided by multiple OEMs and suppliers will showcase innovative technologies such as advanced propulsion, recent launches, and specialty vehicles. Vehicles may be test driven by attendees on a 10-minute course.

The Ride and Drive will be held April 16-18, from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., in Macomb Hall at Cobo Center.

OEMs and supplier participating as of March 19 include:

•     Chrysler - featuring the Dodge Dart, Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel, Fiat 500L, Fiat BEV
•     Nissan-featuring the Nissan Sentra
•     2013 Nissan Sentra
•     Ford - featuring the 2013 Fusion, CMAX Energi, CMAX HEV, Focus BEV
•     Honda-featuring the 2013 Honda Accord EX, 2014 Honda Accord PHEV
•     2014 Honda Accord PHEV
•     Robert Bosch LLC - featuring 2012 VW Tiguan TDI and 2013 VW Beetle TDI
•     General Motors - featuring Cadillac ATS
•     Magna Powertrain - featuring 2013 Ford Focus Electric Vehicle (powertrain supplied by Magna)

The Ride and Drive is open to all registered media and attendees of SAE 2013 World Congress. Participants must be 18 years of age, sign a participation waiver and provide proof of a valid driver's license.
