Lillian Blakesley, former Director of Marketing for GMS Talent L P has bee named President of Public Affairs and Government Relations. Mrs. Blakesley's appointment is part of a strategic initiative by GMS Talent to raise the level of awareness and deepen relationships with key organizations and government entities.

Mrs. Blakesley previously served as Director of Marketing for GMS Talent over the last eight years. Her new duties will include but not be limited to deepening the relationship between GMS and its customers. She will focus on broadening the awareness of the "Strategic Hiring System."

The "Strategic Hiring System" has rapidly become the "gold standard" among tools designed to identify talent and match it to the job.

Her efforts will first be centered on advancing the use of the "Strategic Hiring System" among government entities. Mrs. Blakiesley says, "Organizations of all sizes want, but do not have high-performing people." New tools to identify talent are scarce and those that work should be leveraged to their maximum impact.
